Series VB-AR
Bifunctional air valve for wastewater
Air control in sanitation networks through evacuation of large volumes of air during filling and rapid air intake during emptying or in depression situations.

Sanitation pipelines present especially demanding conditions: presence of solids, grease and fibres. For this reason, the Series VB-AR incorporates an internal design adapted to wastewater, reducing the risk of obstructions and ensuring reliable operation.
How a Series VB-AR air valve works
The valve incorporates a float system that optimizes a large-diameter orifice, allowing large air flows to be expelled under demanding service conditions.

Evacuation of large quantities of air during filling

The valve will remain closed until a depression is detected in the pipeline

The valve will expel the accumulated air in a pipeline when it is pressurized and in service
